Their Solution: Customer Journey to Online Purchase
SLEEFS worked with Facebook Marketing Partner Vantage, an ecommerce analytics and advertising company, to run a set of highly efficient campaigns that touch customers with ads at every step along the customer journey. This was done using the Vantage Stack, a self-reinforcing bundle of 5 campaigns that brings in new customers to drive them through the sales funnel.
The 5 ad campaigns that make up the Vantage Stack include:
- Find New Customers: Target new customers based on characteristics of your best customers.
- Get Visitors Back: Retarget visitors that viewed the store, but didn't look at products or add anything to the cart in order to bring them back.
- Close the Sale: Utilize dynamic product ads (DPA) to retarget anyone who viewed a product or added it to a cart, but did not purchase.
- Recover Abandoners: Deliver ads to people who got partway through the checkout process, but didn't finish it.
- Retain Customers: Remind your best customers about your brand and encourage them to come back by showing them new products or customer favorites.
Vantage created custom audiences using SLEEFS store and website data to target customers through each of the 5 ad campaigns. Once the campaigns were launched the platform’s predictive optimization took over for SLEEFS removing the bad ads and re-allocating the budget to the best ads, placements, and channels. Overall the Vantage Stack was the perfect solution for SLEEFS, considering both companies are highly focused on one thing - growth.
The Results: Fueling Growth
The Vantage Stack helped fuel SLEEFS growth and exceed its original goal of bringing in $4 for every $1 spent. SLEEFS launched campaigns in July 2016 and after only 6 months it achieved:
- 11X return on ad spend
- $0.37 cost per click on ads
- 5% click through rate on ads
- 90% less time spent on campaign creation
