About the Role:
Are you the kind of person who goes down rabbit holes like, “How did retail media get this complicated?” or, “Why does everyone suddenly want to ‘own the customer journey’?” If so, you might be our next Retail Media Analyst.
This isn’t just about churning out data—though there will be plenty of that. It’s about interpreting the chaos of the industry, discovering hidden gems of insight, and helping shape the future of Vantage (and retail media at large). You’ll live and breathe market research, synthesize complex ideas into big-picture clarity, and sprinkle in the occasional “aha!” moment for our team and clients alike.
TL;DR: If you love retail media, digging into trends, building awesome charts, and debating what really matters in this space, this is your moment.
What You’ll Be Doing (Other Than Googling):
- Conduct endless (seriously, endless) market research—emerging trends, competitive landscapes, shiny new acronyms—you name it.
- Craft insights that help Vantage ideate, innovate, and occasionally laugh at the absurdities of the industry.
- Partner with our leadership team to guide strategic vision, ensuring we’re always two steps ahead of the market—or at least faking it convincingly.
- Support thought leadership content (white papers, blogs, podcasts, carrier pigeon missives) with the receipts to back it up.
- Keep us humble. If the data says, “Hey, bad idea!” we want to hear it (but say it nicely).
What We’re Looking For:
- Curiosity of a cat, but ideally with better research skills.
- The ability to read between the lines of industry trends and see the real story.
- An appreciation for both data and storytelling—bonus points if you know when to stop using pie charts.
- A knack for turning complexity into clarity.
- Experience in retail media, market research – someone that can understand intricacies of this space beyond the surface.
