4 BigCommerce Stores We Love

There are tons of things that make a website amazing, and when it comes to online stores, BigCommerce has a fantastic, easy-to-use ecommerce platform that can be customized and integrated with lots of awesome apps that make being an ecommerce store owner a whole lot easier. Though it was difficult, we decided to put together a few of our favorite BigCommerce stores that are excelling in the realm of ecommerce. Take a look!

1. Di Bruno Bros.

The thing that Di Bruno Bros. does impeccably well is their images: talk about food porn! You get hungry just landing on their site, the products sell themselves, and they know it. It’s part of their tactic because they know that images boost conversion rates, especially ones that are high-quality, evocative, and have strategic CTAs place alongside.

As we’re currently writing this piece it’s just around the corner from Father’s Day. Di Bruno Bros. has capitalized on the fact that their product makes an incredible and unique gift and have refreshed their content to captivate and convert customers. You’re immediately hit with a mouth watering image and think, “Hey, my dad would love this!” then you’re offered 10% and see a bright orange tab navigating you towards other likely-delicious options for your Dad. Big kudos to Di Bruno Bros., your website has made us hungry!

2. Sierra Designs

As soon as you get to this website, a clear CTA pops up asking if you “Want the insider scoop?” It’s brilliant because it implies that you’ll be part of some sort of secret club if you give up your info. This is a great way to capture people who are first and foremost interested in what you’re selling and the vibe your company offers. In this case, outdoor gear. Moreover, the company does an excellent job of selling not products, but a lifestyle.

All through the website, there are large, minimalist, high-res photos of people living the outdoorsy dream, and it makes you want to buy the gear so you can get out there and start living an Instagram-worthy life too. Obviously, enough people have been excited by this prospect and have had happy results because they feature customer reviews posted on the product pages. This is a smart tactic because 70 percent of consumers read reviews before committing to a purchase.

3. Nostalgic Bulbs

What’s great about this website is the combination of beauty and utility. On one hand, you have an incredible minimalist theme that boasts stunning images of their product while also offerings an incredibly easy user experience.  For starters, they make great use of the hero image, which is a big piece of the pie because people typically form an opinion of a website within 50 milliseconds of landing on it. Dang! To further increase the impact, they use rustic photos that actually manage to make you feel nostalgia for a forgotten era while mixing in some rustic elements that are currently very in vogue. Nostalgic Bulbs has nailed down its brand and completely lives up to its name. We’re definitely feeling nostalgic while browsing this store.

4. Marucci

With Marucci’s website, customer experience is king. This store has capitalized on the upcoming holiday, Fathers Day, and created a bold display of a fantastic Fathers Day gift idea – a custom baseball bat.

Additionally, you could spend hours on this site watching all the videos they’ve created (all housed on a page they’ve aptly named Marucci TV), reading through data about their technology, shopping, and more. They’ve got a video right on their homepage (a great way to increase conversions), and the excellent site design really encourages customers to click-through. Plus, they have Larry King narrate their company’s story, now that says legitimacy! We love the use of multimedia to make the customer experience more engaging and to create a story worth telling – and more importantly sharing.

Are you inspired by these awesome BigCommerce retailers?  We are! Overall we’re loving the great usage of bright, bold and clear hero images, focus on upcoming seasons and holidays, clear CTAs, use of promotions and easy navigation. If we missed any of your favorite BigCommerce websites be sure to let us know.
